How to influence the future of orphans in Ukraine?

Therefore, on October 9, 2019, our team arrived in Kharkiv to take part in Hack for Locals, which brought together more than one and a half hundred participants who developed ideas and prototypes in the field of public safety and social cohesion to find a solution that will give orphans a chance to influence their future and be able to help themselves after leaving the Boarding School.

Thanks to the support of all participants in the Hackathon, judges from the UNDP, we succeeded.  Solution: Social enterprise “Handcrafts by Orphans”, which will unite orphans from all over Ukraine and allow them to develop many skills and earn their first money without leaving the boarding school.

This project became a winner!

Thanks to the creativity of Masters in making various handmade things that inspired us to this idea, we created a software product – a bot, with which orphans together with the masters have the opportunity to create step by step various products that will be sold on various sales platforms.  Thanks to all the masters who took part in the development of the content.

We will hold many different masterclasses, in which orphans will make different products.

We implement the results of their work on this website.  Proceeds from the sale go to adolescent orphans.

We are sure that thanks to this, children will be able not only to develop their creative skills but also to influence their future!
